The process begins with an idea, either a specific one you have or simply a desire for some artistic expression. We explore your ideas during a complimentary consultation at your home or business where I can view the space(s) and or object(s) to be painted and you can view a more extensive portfolio and collection of samples. (If a personal visit is not practical, we can continue the process through mail, email, and/or phone.) I work either from your ideas or those that develop through our collaboration. Your tastes, interests, personality, and budget are all factors in the design. A fee for the actual design process will also be determined at this meeting based on the scope and scale of the project.

After our consultation, I go back to my studio and create several different designs from which you may choose. When we meet again, we review the designs as well as the costs for each. As all projects are custom, costs are on a per job basis. Size of painting/room(s), level of detail, amount of time required, surface preparation, special requirements such as scaffolding, and travel are all factors in determining costs. Payment schedules for projects are as follows: a 50% deposit required before work begins and to secure a specific start date, with the remaining 50% balance due upon completion.
