Makatura Murals paints for children of all ages on walls, ceilings, furniture, canvases, floors, even a hydroplane on one unusual occasion, or any surface that can be painted.

I work from ideas and designs you already have or collaborate with you to create new ones. I prefer designing and painting one of a kind rooms that are tailored to your personal style and taste. As no two snowflakes are alike, no two designs should be.

As the founder, owner, and artist of Makatura Murals, I take pride in my work and personally attend to all of the details from the initial consultation to the final brushstrokes. Makatura Murals essentially began while I was still in school pursuing an MFA in theatrical set design and started painting interiors for friends and family back home. It wasn't until several years later, having designed and painted in a number of theatres in Chicago, that I moved to Seattle, made Makatura Murals official, and began a full time rewarding endeavor. My versatile theatre training, desire for creative challenges, and ability to communicate and collaborate well with clients, have been invaluable skills for me as a professional artist.
